OLYMPIC FASHION

Hi Dolls,

We could not let today go by without discussing, scrutinising and passing judgement on all the outfits at the Closing ceremony last night.

We were wow'd, we gasped, we even shed a little tear (Gary Barlow - you are a legend!!)
But we were so so proud to be British and think we excelled ourselves with an amazing and patriotic performance! Well done Team GB and all those stars that took part!!

Hers our round up of the best and worst outfits from the night......

We have to start with our favourites...THE SPICE GIRLS!!!!!

When you look at the picture below of them back in their hey day in 1997, you have to admit they all look amazing and are getting better with age!!!

The Spice girls at The Brit's in 1997

15 years on at The Olympic Closing Ceremony

Victoria totally rocked it in a Giles Deacon creation..Classic Posh in a little black number that showed off her super toned legs. How she didn't topple off the top of her taxi in her Manolo's we don't know you...so for that Victoria we salute you ;-)
The other four girls chose outfits that represented their characters, Baby in pink, Sporty in a jump suit, Scary in a over the top glitter cat suit and Ginger in hot red with a hint of the union jack flag that shes famous for accessorising with!
WELL DONE GIRLS!!!

Jessie J

Jessie, Jessie, Jessie!!! Apparently you sacked your old stylist as you wanted to get away from your 'cartoon character' image....ummmmmmm I dont think you got away, maybe you need to find another new stylist who wont make you look like you have camel toe in every outfit you wear!!! Fantastic voice but crap wardrobe!!!

Supermodels!!!!
We were very excited as the massive trucks made their way through the stadium with huge posters of our fav supermodels on the side and we werent disappointed!!!! WOW
Kate and Naomi in Alexander Mcqueen, Georgia in Victoria Beckham, Lily in Vivienne Westwood, Karen in Burberry, Stella in Christopher Kane, Jourdan in Jonathon Saunders and David in Paul Smith (swooooooon!!)
The Supermodels were Just a vision in glorious Gold,  along with David Bowie's 'Fashion' rocking out across the stadium... PERFECT!!!

Queen Kate

The Princess looked flawless as always in a simply but very pretty Whistles dress. Loving that she is supporting the high street again, and showing you can look great for less. The colour is very on trend and looks great against her hair and tanned skin. Fabulous!

Maybe she would like our #ShoeOfTheWeek 'The Catherine' to compliment this outfit!

The Catherine - DollyMixMe £69.99

Love Dolly xx
